User GroupsInterested in hosting a User Group meeting? Download the User Group Request/Information Packet on the User Groups page, and then fill out the Request for Assistance form. Assistance includes money for meeting materials, room rentals, and/or snacks!
List-Serve and Discussion Forums
Did you know that there is a difference between the List-Serve and our Discussion Forums? The listserve is a communication tool for subscribers, regardless of MAGIP membership. Discussion Forums are used by MAGIP members as a communication and discussion tool for a variety of topics (announcements, technical issues, tips and tricks, etc.). Here are a few reminders:
List-Serve
- Subscription-based, attachments not allowed, users should be cognizant when replying (does everyone need to see your response?)?
Discussion Forums
- For MAGIP members, topics/content archived for reference at any time, members can create and reply to topics, discussions encouraged
Did You Know?
Did you know that you that a Did You Know page exists on the MAGIP web site? This page includes an archive of all previous 'Did You Know' emails delivered via the list-serve. The page can be found within the 'Resources' menu.
In an ongoing effort to provide outreach to both MAGIP members and non-members, the Did You Know page is accessible to anyone!
GIS Day
Did you know that MAGIP will provide assistance for GIS Day-related festivities? Just fill out the new Request for Assistance web form!
Begin planning now - GIS Day is the third Wednesday in November! Don't forget to register your GIS Day Event through the GISDay web site for hosting resources!
