I have a lake layer consisting of lakes over 20 acres. I need to take off the lakes that are Not on private property, and keep the ones that are, and update a map that i have created. Is there an easy way to do this?
Thanks

There are a few ways to do this but the easiest is to add both your parcels and lakes layer to the map...then select by attribute where your parcels 'OWNCODE >= 20000'...with those parcels selected, use the 'Select By Attribute' to select all lakes that are completely within the selected parcels....export the selected lakes and you're done.MikeRavalli CountyDeb Blystone wrote:I have a lake layer consisting of lakes over 20 acres. howeve all the parcel layer is selected, and it appears all of the lake layer is selected, and how would i export this? Or should it only be highlighting the lakes that i want to keep?
