Technical Sessions are held in October of every year. The Technical Sessions are intended to:

• Provide inexpensive and relevant in-state training opportunities.
• Provide a forum for GIS professionals in Montana to network and share knowledge.
• Provide a forum for Montana Spatial Data Infrastructure (MSDI) Framework Working Group meetings.
  
  The MAGIP Technical Committee leads the planning of the Technical Session, but encourages everyone to provide input into workshop topics and welcomes anyone interested in helping with planning the event.
