Membership Opportunities
Membership Benefits and Rewards
MAGIP members receive discounts on conference and workshop registration fees, access to the MAGIP discussion forum and technical tip and tricks, access to the MAGIP members contact list, and the opportunity to post job openings and resumes'. Membership dues are used to support education grants and scholarships, conferences, workshops, website maintenance and other administrative needs.

Membership Responsibilities
MAGIP members are encouraged to participate in the activities of the organization by contributing time toward one of the supporting committees, volunteering at the biannual conferences, teaching or hosting
workshops, and participating in GIS outreach.

Membership Registration

You may pay your dues on-line with a credit card or have us send you a bill. Upon receipt of your membership dues you will be notified of your membership number, which will be your password for access to the Members Only section of the web site. The Members Only section has job announcements, resumes, a discussion forum, and local government GIS contact information.

Membership Categories
Full Professional Member - Annual dues $30.00 per member
This membership category is open to individual GIS professionals and organizations or businesses wishing to enroll individual employees. It includes discounted conference and workshop fees, access to the Members area of the website, full voting privileges, and the opportunity to serve on the Association's Board of Directors.
Associate Member - Annual dues $20.00
This membership category is open to organizations and businesses that would like to support MAGIP without enrolling individual members and provides access to the Members area of the website.
Student Member - Annual dues $10.00
This membership category is open to full or part-time students of an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university or technical training institution and includes voting privileges, and access to the Members area of the website.
