Bio
I began my career in the GIS field in 2006, starting as a land surveyor in the energy exploration sector. I advanced to the role of Project Manager, where I was responsible for providing maps and data to drillers, recorders, pilots, landmen, and client representatives. After leaving the energy sector, I transitioned to an engineering firm, where my work focused on managing survey data, creating maps, and drafting survey descriptions.
In early 2013, I returned to Montana to resume work as a land surveyor. Later that year, I joined a tech company in Missoula as a GIS Analyst, a position I held until 2023. Following a brief hiatus from GIS work, I accepted the role of Utilities GIS Program Administrator for the City of Helena in 2024.
