Technical Sessions
The MAGIP Technical Sessions were created in 2006 with the intent to:
- Provide inexpensive and relevant in-state training opportunities
- Provide a forum for GIS professionals in Montana to network and share knowledge
- Provide a forum for Montana Spatial Data Instrastructure (MSDI) Framework Working Group meetings
The MAGIP Technical Committee formerly led the planning of the Technical Session. As of October 2017 the Technical Committee now leads the planning of the workshops for the annual Big Sky GeoCon. Everyone is encouraged to provide input into workshop topics. The Technical Committee welcomes anyone interested in helping to plan these events.
