Twenty students are eligible to receive full scholarships to the conference.
Requirements to apply for a student scholarship:
- A letter stating your commitment to the GIS/Geography profession, demonstrated by course work and or experience.
- A letter of support from an instructor in any program related to GIS or Geography.
- A statement of consent to assist with presentations, workshops or registration.
We generally assign a student or pair to be available at each session to help with AV equipment, lights or run for help. Some students assist for a time at the registration table or assist at workshops in a similar manner. In return each student gets free registration. Each student must fill out a registration form from the WEB site to the conference coordinator so we can track enrollment for workshops and banquet meals. Each student is responsible for their own room and meals not provided.
